ALTERAZIONI, Call for projects 2023

Rules exist to be broken. Alteration is the breaking point, the momentary suspension that opens up new expressive possibilities. Photography, by its nature, is an art of experimentation: it interprets, deforms, subverts reality.
This tension toward change is answered by the Call for Projects 2023 – theme Alterations- which selected 14 artists for a group exhibition. Their works will enter into the Permanent Collection of the Orestiadi Foundation, adding a new piece to the history of the festival.An archive in continuous transformation, where each image is a detour, a new way of looking at the world.
